We are here to serve you.
As the founder and lead mental-health specialist, I struggled a lot with my own mental health and didn’t know that there were resources out there. It came out in inflexibility, judgment and second-guessing myself constantly. I led others, but I couldn’t lead myself; I was leading without heart.
It wasn’t until I was asked to step down from managerial roles that I had to re-evaluate what was going on.
It impacted my team and work relationships.
I struggled to pick myself up, as the guilt of failure and disappointing others clouded my ability to see the good.
I uncovered the solution by daring to trust the mentors around me.
I realized that the key to success wasn’t having total control.
Instead, it was learning how to listen, how and when to speak and knowing that someone has a part of the solution, but only if you dare to listen.
Being empowered by clients too afraid to speak up at work encouraged me to be consistent, pushing through my discomfort, reaching out and re-learning how to lead.
Leading for me is now about serving.
When you choose to serve your team, it’s a double win.
You win as you start seeing areas that you need to work on to reach success.
My goal is to help managers in their struggle to support mental health and to make sure they know that there are resources to support them.
Out of the office, I enjoy working out, people watching, travelling, and having great laughs with friends.
